1. Select Count or from the menu and the Count screen appears.
   • The screen shows a list of Warehouses that the user has access to based on the user’s property rights.
   • When you select a new Warehouse , QuickTask sets up any required data and brings up the screen.
   • When a physical counting is in progress for a Warehouse, “In Progress” appears below the Warehouse ID.
2. Select a Warehouse and then the Physical Counts screen appears.
   • You can select a Warehouse where physical counting is already in progress, or select any other Warehouse and then start a new physical counting at that Warehouse.

The Physical Counts screen appears when you select a Warehouse from the Count Screen.

After the physical count is completed on the Warehouse Item screen, use this screen to delete the physical count, or apply the physical count in the system.

1. The user can view the Physical Counts screen, which shows:
   • Document ID – Add or edit an identification for the count.
   • Accounting Date (defaults to login date) – Edit the date, if necessary.
   • Post to GL – Do you want to post this count to the general ledger? Options are: Yes/No.
     
     NOTE that when the user has the Lite Inventory license, Post to GL is not available.
     
     
   • ITEMS section – A list of Warehouse Items appears at the bottom of the screen, with a count for each.
   • Save for Later (button) – Tap the button when you want to save your work and complete the physical count later.
2. The user can tap an option for the Physical Counts screen:
   • Delete – Tap to delete a physical count that may be in progress.
   • Apply Physical Count – Tap to apply the physical count. You would select this option after the physical count is completed on the Warehouse Item screen.

The Warehouse Item screen appears when you select a Warehouse Item from the Physical Counts screen.

1. The user can select any of the Warehouse Items and view/edit the details for that Item. The details on the Warehouse Item screen vary based on the setup established for the Warehouse Item in the Inventory module. For example, they may show the following:
   • The Warehouse item name
   • Bin – The bin the Item is in.
   • UOM – Unit of Measure for the Item.
   • Per Box – Number of Items per box.
   • Per Case – Number of Items per case.
   • Quantity Details – Original Quantity, Quantity Counted, Quantity Adjusted, and Unit Cost for the Item.
   • Done (button) – Tap the button when you are finished entering data into the screen for the Warehouse item.
2. When an updated value is entered, QuickTask indicates that with an asterisk (*) symbol next to the quantity. For example, the user would see 33* on the screen for an item that has an updated value of 33.
